Aim and Scope
The American Journal of Business and Operations Research (AJBOR) publishes research on business intelligence and business data analytics that helps organizations make better commercial, financial, and operational decisions. Its focus is the use of data, quantitative models, and decision support methods to understand business performance and guide action.
AJBOR welcomes empirical studies, methodological contributions, and rigorous case studies in which a clearly defined business decision is central to the research. Relevant work may use statistical analysis, forecasting, machine learning, optimization, simulation, or operations research. The journal gives priority to studies that evaluate the method appropriately, interpret the findings in their business context, and explain how the results can inform a decision.
