Description

International Journal of BIM and Engineering Science (IJBES) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its integration with engineering science. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the publication of original research articles, review papers, and case studies addressing digital transformation in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

IJBES focuses on innovative methodologies and applications of BIM in integrated design, construction management, and project lifecycle optimization. The journal encourages contributions that explore data-driven and intelligent approaches to improve efficiency, collaboration, and sustainability in engineering and construction practices.

All submissions undergo initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous peer-review process conducted by independent experts. Further details are available in the Peer Review Process.

Authors may submit manuscripts prepared in any standard academic format. Detailed preparation instructions are provided in the Author Guidelines.

IJBES is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, research integrity, and transparency. Authors must ensure compliance with the publisher’s policies as outlined in the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

Submission of a manuscript implies agreement with the publisher’s copyright and licensing terms as described in the Copyright and Licensing Policy.

International Journal of BIM and Engineering Science (IJBES) covers all aspects of:

-       Architectural, Structural, and MEP design

-       Design management

-       Construction/Project Management

-       Engineering management of major infrastructure projects

-       Operation and management of constructed facilities

-       Technological, process, economic/business, environmental/sustainability, and social/human developments that influence the construction project delivery process.

IJBES strives to establish strong theoretical and empirical debates in the above areas of engineering, architecture, and construction research. Papers should be heavily integrated with the existing and current body of knowledge within the field and develop explicit and novel contributions. Acknowledging the global character of the field, we welcome papers on regional studies but encourage authors to position the work within the broader international context by reviewing and comparing findings from their regional study with studies conducted in other regions or countries whenever possible.
