Description

Journal of Cognitive Human Computer Interaction (JCHCI) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in cognitive aspects of human–computer interaction (HCI) and intelligent interactive systems. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the publication of original research articles and review papers that explore the integration of cognitive science, user behavior, and computational methods in the design and evaluation of interactive technologies.

JCHCI focuses on interdisciplinary research that combines human-centered design with artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cognitive modeling to enhance usability, user experience, and system intelligence. The journal encourages contributions addressing areas such as user behavior analysis, adaptive interfaces, human-centered AI, and interactive system design across diverse application domains.

All submissions undergo initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous peer-review process conducted by independent experts. Further details are available in the Peer Review Process.

Authors may submit manuscripts prepared in any standard academic format. Detailed preparation instructions are provided in the Author Guidelines.

JCHCI is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, research integrity, and transparency. Authors must ensure compliance with the publisher’s policies as outlined in the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

Aim and Scope

JCHCI focuses on how computer human interaction techniques and new cognitive methods can be combined to discourse real time problems as well as replication studies that provides a significant potential to impact the technical advancements. Problem descriptions related to cognitive thinking where human expertise is paramount with substantial intricacies on the context, underlying reasons and indications, including rigorous approach on technical and organizational impact are also encompassed. It publishes original research papers particularly focussing on the behaviour of the system and also strives to promote innovation akin to real-world relevance. It broadly covers the following topics but not limited to:

·      Agent technologies

·      Reasoning and inferences

·      Sensational cognitive processes

·      Software agent systems

·      Pattern Recognition

·      Knowledge management and discovery

·      Decision support system

·      Human Computer Interaction

·      Cognitive Signal Processing

·      Deep Learning

·      Soft Computing

·      Mixed Reality

·      Data and text mining

·      Evolutionary computation

·      Probabilistic reasoning

·      Human factors in systems
